Oh and the sound like the real thing, I built one and put it up against my original, sounded perfect.

Well...according to Frank...maybe we should just make our own. "If they sound the same...they are the same"...
But, so far, my Google searching has come to naught. _________________ "I reserve the right to be completely wrong." |

Normally I wouldn't do this, but here is one of the two I mentioned. Others are available. I have recently found another Redd DIY version which I am not going to list yet as I do not know of it's reality sound.
The following is quite nice.

And DIY is a good exercise in patience. Do not do this if you are at all intimidated by high voltage. Be SAFE first.

Neve Portico II Channel
Many of the features which were 'fixed' settings in the older Neve products are 'variable' in the newly designed products. They said you could basically set it up so it sounds just like the Red-7, post studios have, apparently, been being this more than their other products. _________________ Genus |

Just a quick update. Drip Electronics has pulled the 47 from their site, it's no longer available. The will be issuing it as the Drip Ultra, but presently it's out of stock, and won't be available for at least 30 days.
Gives me time to clean off the work bench, finish some other small builds and prepare! _________________ Company, villainous company, hath been the spoil of me...
