I've been using one for years, but I think they're expensive, have non-existent customer service and are hard to use. Other than that, they're great!
Anybody have one they are happy with..Ring Central? efax? Anything out there that does a good job at a good price? |

i used e-fax for several years but dropped it a couple of years ago as not worth the investment. i had a (very) little bit of pushback from one client - but she eventually agreed that email was a better solution. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

I haven't faxed in at least a decade now. I just scan it and F it. It's free. All my correspondents do the same.
I've even done some fill-in-the-blank F forms where you "type" in your signature. A little odd, but for only slightly critical documents I don't see the problem.

Thanks guys..Yes, this service works by me scanning and creating and uploading PDFs, and receives faxes as F's..and I guess about the only time I've used it has been with non-work related stuff. |

I think I still have an active ExtremeFax account, from Ring Central. Used it a handful of times, no-where near enough to pay for itself. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

My fax line's now disconnected and our Brother Fax multi-a machine is basically collecting dust, except for the occasional copy to be made.
Like Bruce, I now scan and email pdfs. _________________ Bobbin Beam

I did have to send somebody a fax recently but since I still have a land line, I just plugged my laptop into a phone jack and faxed from Windows. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

The only people or businesses I know of that still use FAX are Doctors. Other than that....I don't even know where my Fax machine is these days. Probably hidden underneath some old reel-to-reels. _________________ "I reserve the right to be completely wrong." |

From a Linkedin meme..
"Can you sign this and fax it back to me?"
"No, not from where I live"
"Where do you live that you can't fax?"
"2015"
HelloSign (just google it) lets lets you legally sign and modify docs (even F) for free. Haven't had any complaints yet. |

I still subscribe to Send2Fax but I think that's about to go away. Last year, I think I sent two faxes and received one. All for only 12 bucks a month. Eck. _________________ Bob Ransom

I use FaxFresh, which is a couple bucks to send a fax. Can't receive, though. Works great. _________________ "If the shit fits, wear it."
