I got my first shot behind the mic at an AFRTS station in Pusan, Korea...
At the tender age of 8.
Shortly thereafter, I built my 1st home studio, with an old "suitcase" Ampex and a couple of mics cribbed from my dad's collection. As I got older, I graduated from 2trk to 4, then 8...
By the time I got to high school, I was spinning "beautiful music". College brought a job on Nashville's "music row"... Followed by 25+ yrs of "have mic, will travel"...
All because of a guy like you.
Thanks, Roger. _________________ Don Brookshire

I missed the military experience... my draft number was 335 ...
But the studio looks extremely familiar from my early days on the air.

Like Buce I made out in the draft lottery with 362. I did work in a number of stations with similar setups but different mics. _________________ Gregory Best
