Was placing an order for a couple of FetHead Phantoms (the one that passes phantom power thru) but I wondered if they had any with a hpf that started at 80 Hz. So I asked the guys in Holland.

They told me they did not, but they could built that into to mine (at no extra charge).

This could be very practical for anyone who needs +18 dB of clean gain and a hpf but your small interface does not have the hpf built in, or like in the case of the Audient iD22, the hpf begins at 100 Hz.

Thought this could be a benefit to some of you.

It is not on their list of products so you have to ask for it, but they seem to be very willing to do so. Smile

Disclaimer: Not getting anything from these guys but think this is a nice addition to one's vo toolkit.

If the session happens to be live...i.e. Source Connect, ISDN, etc. then an outboard hpf would be called for rather than a plugin due to latency issues with the software.
