Dave!

Not "A Dave" but THE Dave.

Awesome.

I shall offer him 27cents in cash for it. Is anyone able to lend me 26cents?

If you want to see the spread of the usage a word, just Google "voiceoverist".

The word was born here, with Philip as its only parent.

My, how it has grown.

Almost 5,000 hits on Google this morning. However, their algorithms are cheating a bit. They're counting German websites that use the term "voiceover ist". Still, it's fun watching etymology as it happens!

I simply love how serious people have bought into the stupidity of it and how others appear to believe it is the cutting edge of brandization.

Brandization is my word, you can have that. The domain name is available Rolls Eyes

First item returned in my search was a link right here to VO-BB. Third item: DB Cooper. I don't show up until 94th and I was an early adopter.

And the images include lots of people we know.

http://maggiereed.com

Is this actress part of the VO-BB?
She's the 2nd hit in the search I get.

Oh! and Jazz is in the images. Pretty spiffy.

I find it hard to imagine a selection of images without Jazz; just seems SO wrong.

Legal Note - Date stamped record on this board of my mentioning it first (in context) establishes my creation and prior claim on the word and the definition thereof. If indeed that is the case. I could TM it and start legal proceedings but I'm not that small minded.

I do however see a custard pie fight in my future.

If the word was born here with Philip as its sole parent, and it is gaining traction with all sorts of wrongheaded people, does that make it some sort of immaculate misconception?
