I have found the response "Compared to what?" almost guarantees a severe beating. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

Hint: "Why, yes. Yes it does. I'm just sayin'," is NOT the correct answer. |
The correct answer is also NOT "Umm, I don't think it's the dress."
Don't ask me how I know. _________________ Doug Turkel (tur-KELL)

Since the VO-BB is always so helpful & educational:
You DO realize that there is only ONE correct answer to that question, right?
(Hint: It is ALWAYS the opposite of "Yes") _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

Not even when you append an "I'm just sayin'." _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

I think it's used mostly when you are pointing out the OBVIOUS to someone who you are passive-aggressively explaining what they SHOULD have known ...in the first place. So, in that sense, it can be a kind of intellectual condescension. Jus' Sayin' _________________ "I reserve the right to be completely wrong." |

Whenever anyone accuses me of being passive aggressive, I usually point out that their perception is somewhat flawed, and I was being actively aggressive... and they're not quick-witted enough to spot it.
I make a lot of friends that way. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish
