I'm looking for a good way to manage multiple mics. I've seen quick connect connections but have no idea which work well and which dont. Any recommendations or warnings for quick connect brand?

A stand that holds two mics at once would be ok as well if anybody knows a good model.

I've googled but I always like recommendations from people that use them.

Thanks!

Gary,
I have OnStage QK-2B quick release connectors on all of my shock mounts and clips. They have a solid snap-lock that secures them when attached.

For multi-mic set up, you might look at a "stereo bar" or "X-Y" mic mount. Some drummers use an X-Y config, to record drum kits. With all the extra weight on the end of a mic boom, I either sandbag my mic legs, or use another stand that I slid a barbell weight over the vertical stand pipe. I hate seeing my mics do nose-dives.

Hei Gary,

Check out Triad- Orbit. Think they have all that you are looking for in your last 2 posts. Have one mic mounted from the ceiling.

Good and sturdy, but expensive stuff.

Here is ine link...
