Anyone know how to contact a LinkedIn group manager? Believe me, I tried to find out how on LinkedIn, but their alleged "Help" is useless, as they apparently didn't see fit to update the information after updating how Group pages are displayed and what is displayed on them.
Attention to detail is not LinkedIn's strong suit. Based on previous experience, I'm not surprised. _________________ Mike

If it's the Voice Over Professionals Group, just send me an email. If it's any other group (besides the WPOP Alumni Group), I'm afraid I can't help you.
I used to get at least a dozen requests to join VO Professionals every day. Now I barely get one a week. I doubt the interest suddenly dropped off a cliff. I suspect they have munged the communication channels. I would have expected to be deluged with emails from people wondering why they have not yet been approved, but I've gotten nothing. I think there's probably a LinkedIn "Dead Letter Office" somewhere that's brimming with emails that aren't getting through.
And LinkedIn's moderation tools are horrible, too. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Thanks, Connie.
<sigh> It really would've been good of LinkedIn to make it obvious that the number of members was a link, rather than letting people poke around blindly and become frustrated. I don't make a habit of dragging my cursor all over the screen to find hidden links. Before they redesigned their pages, the "About This Group" had been the logical place to find contact info for the group manager.
Thanks again, Connie. And thank you, LinkedIn. For nothing. _________________ Mike

How quaint and old fashioned of you. Just think of all the Easter Eggs you're missing. Roaming the screen with your cursor is the hip "hunt and peck" of the mid 2010's.

Yes, I know. You should see me while grocery shopping: going directly to only those things I need and then checking out and leaving.
Still, fond as I am of having someone else's hands in my mouth for an hour, I'm at least glad my dentist uses X-rays to find trouble spots.
