http://www.clydefitchreport.com/2015/02/rent-theatre-los-angeles-acting/

This guy Zaccharin Thibodeau of "Broadway Theatricals" and "Theatrical Experience" is STILL AT IT.
AND he has defrauded out favorite paymaster, Falcon Enterprises.

He's currently making a film in Riverside, California and the folks at Falcon are trying to arrange for his arrest.
This guy is operating IN THE OPEN and because Falcon is in Ohio, it has been absurdly hard to coördinate the law.

Tom Allamon of Falcon said:
If anyone knows where he is, call police immediately then call Falcon!

Super Long-Distance Thanks.

I'm surprised they were doing "Rent" and not "Springtime for Hitler." What a cluster-frak.

Is there an arrest warrant for extradition?

As a theatre veteran of about 40+ years, I am dumbfounded at how many red flags the cast ignored. NEVER rehearsing on stage or in a venue; NEVER meeting ANY technical or support personnel, NEVER having a tech rehearsal for lights and sound, the change in dates and venues... and on and on and on. One would think - ESPECIALLY in a major entertainment market like L.A., that theatre folks would have had warning bells and sirens going on at full tilt LONG before the theoretical opening night.

Greg— I don't know. I'll ask Tom next time we talk.

I would see that as the only basis for an "arrest" unless there is a crime in progress. Otherwise it is likely a civil matter.

Here in CA the jails are overcrowded and non-violent criminals are often released on a citation. If there was an active felony warrant possibly they would arrest.

It varies.

Yeah, shoot. It's civil right now even though there's interstate fraud involved.
No warrant.

Money order fraud, and money laundering± checks made out to people whose paperwork shows a different SSN and Address than their real one.

You'd think it would be a slam dunk! but getting the authorities involved has been like pushing a train uphill, and the guys in Ohio, where Falcon is, are "building a case". And Tom has had to send them copies of the fraudulent money order and other paperwork twice since Tuesday.

He should involve FBI and Postal Inspectors if it went interstate through the US mail or by wire. Wire fraud and mail fraud are federal felonies. If the case is big enough or there is a pattern of conduct the Feds may be interested.

I am on an environmental crime task force and the Feds often charge mail and wire fraud in other type cases.

The postal fraud was circumvented by the perp using FedEx.

We think the FBI should totally be involved but you can't just call those guys. Tom mentioned the Secret Service but that doesn't make sense to me and he was perplexed at their interest.
And the local gendarmes (sherrifs and the like. . . don't know why) are apparently infuriatingly blasé about it.

You can call the FBI. I do it regularly since I work with federal agents. At least the FBI may be able to direct him to the proper agency if it is not them.

The Secret Service handles counterfeiting and currency cases. Maybe there is a tie in with money orders.
