i had a few minutes this afternoon & managed to get the drone up for a bit -

That was either a very cool, calm, and collected heron to just sit there and ignore your drone, or its feet were frozen to the ice so it couldn't fly away.

Cool vid for sure. Your turntable needs batteries however.

it was kind of amazing. i flew past him 6 (3 forward, 3 back) times with barely a look - then he sort of calmly walked away. like - "i don't know what kind of bird this is - but he's ruining this sunset for me."
