Fabby! It's what an actor brings to the party. If he, in this case t'was a he, is involved, engaged, interested and thoughtfully so, things happen.

If you were to visit the VO booth used by the BBC network promo voices there is a sticker attached to the Neumann U87, it reads thus "Talk to me"

Voice Over people become Voice Actors when the barriers come down and they simply "Talk to me"

The good news for the fine upstanding few is that the majority reading this life/career changing comment is that they either aren't interested or they really think it's the noise they make that will seal the deal.
