I've been asked by a European production house for a rate to record a DEMO for an internal presentation (no usage). But, if the demo is approved, it might go on air.
The client/studio is suggesting the rate of $150 per script (scripts are usually 30” or 60”, the maximum length could be 2 minutes).
Again, the spot might be airing, but it is not known where and for how long. The studio wants to avoid suggesting talents that go far too beyond the client’s budget. I'm being asked for a rate for a 13 week cycle.
Frankly, I haven't got a clue how to respond to this. Can anyone please help? Thanks. _________________ Mike
