I just spent, for me, 90 blissful minutes of listening to Frank Oz interview Mark Hamill regarding voiceover acting, acting of all kinds, and of course Star Wars. Hamill is about as engaging a story teller as one could hope for on what it takes to get into the business, to succeed in the business and fail in the business and recover. Beginner or old pro, I think you'll enjoy this:

8-year-old me is freaking out watching this video.
43-year-old me is freaking out watching this video.
Both are kids in a candy store enjoying the retelling of behind the scenes stories and just how amazing it is that his sense of wonder and joy at the world hasn't at all changed regardless of what life has thrown at home throughout the years. I adore that man so much. |
