I can guess that most of you use Cool Edit, Adobe Audition, perhaps an ancient version of SawPlus32 for your producing needs. Have any of you heard of Magix Music Studio? I've used it since version 6 and you simply can't beat it for the price when it comes to robust non-destructive audio manipulation. The latest version comes with a small suite of very useful native plugins and you can add your own DirectX and VST plugins to the coral as well.

If this is out of line DB please inform me but here's a link to see more details about it;

Magix Music Studio 11 Deluxe

I just wanted to share my secret to audio bliss with everyone here since it's nice to share.

Not out of line at all, My Dave.
This isn't a flame or a slam—
this is in the realm of Generously Shared Info.

Thanks!

Although I don't do any production work I have Magix Music studio 7 and have found it very useful.

Thanks for the link Dave. I hadn't heard of this one until now. I'll have to check it out. I use Sound Forge for all my work. I have Cool Edit Pro 1.2a for any multi-track work I may have to do.

You can pick this up at CompUSA, Best Buy, Fry's and many more software depots.

Dave,

I bought Magix Music Studio 10 a couple of years ago for $9.99 after mail in rebate from Fry's. Watch the ads.

It was my first audio editor. It is a pretty good program for the money and is a mulit-track program.
