"Any other freelancers get a massive case of freelance fear right before a new year where you convince yourself you’ll never work again and those retraining in cyber ads might have been right? Or is it just me and my anxiety’s great timing?"
She caught me! What was I doing?
Here's my reply

If you provided clients with good levels of courtesy and professionalism in 2021, chances are they'll be back in 2022 for more.

That gem flies over the head of every single person who comes new to the market complete with Marching Band and Cheerleaders. All that noise just makes me spill my tea. |

Ya know, I have a handful of contracted gigs that have me scheduled through May, 2022. After that? Not a clue. Just your average unemployed actor. I always assume each job is the last. But most actors feel that way when a Broadway show closes or a film wraps. That's show biz. |
