Anybody running an old version of Adobe Audition (3.0 for example) on a Mac with an emulator?

Thoughts?

No, but out of curiosity: why would you do such a thing?

I really liked AA3. I hate Adobe's subscription model.

From my research, what I want to do looks nearly impossible. At the very least, unlikely.

I guess I'll stick with Reaper.

Man, I feel ya. I ditched Adobe several years ago in favor of TwistedWave, one of the few remaining DAWs supporting a perpetual license.

It doesn't do multitrack editing and it's not the Swiss Army Knife that Audition is, but for my needs (recording and editing one voice track), it works a charm. Fast as hell, and almost zero bugs, unlike recent versions of Audition which seemed to crash at random.

Guessing you really need multitrack and non-destructive editing, but if your needs are simple, TwistedWave's where it's at for me.

Thanks to Lance, I'm "pretty OK" on Reaper now.
