Speaking of loud aircraft, there's been some "indident" about 3 blocks from my house and I haven't been able to open my mic for over 2 hours now because of the parade of TV helicopters cruising and hovering overhead. My suspended track lighting keeps jiggling too so I may have an epileptic fit if I stay in here much longer.

Curse you Red Barons of the airwaves!
