Hey all -
I just read an article on the CBS New York news site: http://wcbstv.com/seenon/local_story_222055935.html
It offers a really good suggestion for keeping your emergency contact info easily "findable" in your phone book. Label a new entry I.C.E. (stands for In Case of Emergency), and put the contact info in it.
The only hitch is that if your phone requires a pin - which most do - they won't be able to access the info, so keep those phones on whenever possible! I also plan to put stickers on our phones indicating "ICE listing contained within".
God willing, no one will ever need to use this! Stay safe, everybody! |

I love the idea behind this, too, but ran into a different problem with my phone. If I already have a number entered, I can't have an entry in the phonebook for "Home" and "ICE" with the same number.
I guess I could just change the entries to ICE1 and ICE2 (I'd know they were my husband and my father), but still . . .it was kinda frustrating.

Lisa, try just adding ICE in front of Home and/or any other name you would want to be your emergency contact. _________________ Elaine

Elaine, you took the thought right out if my head. I just heard back from a friend who programmed her entries as ICE Hubby and ICE Mom! >^_^< |

Yes, but does Mrs. Cube enter "ICE ICE" in her phone?
