Haha what the hell? I wrote the shortened version of applications and it converted it to Hobo Tounges. |

I haven't tried Hobo Tongues for Windows. Is that a dialect program or something? _________________ Greg Littlefield

Welcome to the latest installment of USB mic compatibility. I am happy to report that I am writing to you this morning from my brand spankin new Macbook
Bob and Kara- you're spot on about my finger memory....it will come with time...but the coolest thing EVER was I plugged my Snowball mic in and the Mac RECOGNIZED it. Huzzah!
But Liz...still be on stand by....my mad editing skills are stuck in the PC world. I felt like a first grader making my way through garage band - and in full disclosure, my fourth grader actually was helping me with my test run (he figured out how to click and drag edited sections...this IS why we breed isn't it?
Thanks everyone for your insight and advice....I can't believe I'm now in the Mac world....its soo pretty here.

I found Garageband to be FANTASTIC for making my own music beds. Since I don't have any mics hooked up to my G4, I haven't tried using it as an editing application yet.
I don't know if you used Audacity at all with Windows, but it's also available for the Macs. Just figured I'd throw that out there for ya as well. _________________ Greg Littlefield

When I had to use Pro Tools on a Mac for a living, the only diffence was the Apple key instead of the Windows key. Otherwise, identical. |
