I just happened upon http://us.voicespro.com. I created a profile and it seems like a good site. But why is it free? And why are there so few voiceover actors on it? There must be a catch, right?
Here's my page:

The featured talent probably pays a premium, and the Google Ads count for something. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Isn't this the US version of a UK talent database? Maybe I am confusing it with something else. _________________ Ron Phillips

The "profile" descriptions seem quite detailed. I wonder if they are using it to filter out "lesser known" talents that have little or no experience? _________________ "Bailey"

Is this perhaps a startup? A lot of exteraneous information there . I suppose it can't harm you to have one more link to you as a resource.... _________________ Bobbin Beam

The more links to you the better in Google's eyes. The more links, the higher the page rank and the closer to the front page on a search you will appear. Of course that is the overly simplified answer, but for all intents it works that way. I look at it as free advertising. The more you can be visible on the vast wasteland that is the Internet, the better. |
