It sounds good. You have a clean, youthful voice. There's not much "meat"
in the trailer announcer copy to display your talent, though.
Using DVD audio, write and produce your own trailers from blockbuster movies. Three or four clips and some clever VO should do it. _________________ www.asapaudio.com |

Thanks Bill. I appreciate your time listening to that. I have Vegas video... Is there a clean way of importing dvd audio and video? Or is it only possible through the internal sound card or my mixing board?
Thanks!

Just FYI... you might try looking at www.radiolinkshollywood.com as they have a nice selection of what I prefer to think of as "trailer pieces" that are fantastic for mock trailers... or you can even make it sound like a promo you might find on say... a cable providers On Demand promo video loop where the interview pieces would even sound cool if you wrote your copy properly. They're meant for use in promoting the movies to radio listeners by morning hosts, etc. (This also gives you the advantage of having something that's not out on DVD, too!)
You need to fill out their cute little form and give your e-mail address, which I've only known them to use for telling you when clips from a new film are added to their collection. There is no "account" to speak of... you have to do that each time you visit, I believe... but it's worth it.
What do you get for your trouble? Well, if you select the "Clean Cuts" version you'll get a few quick interview pieces from the stars (a few seconds each) on the head end followed by several drops from within the film. On the tail end you'll find a nice bit of music from the movie which is more or less an entire music bed for your trailer.
As an example: Shrek the Third

Hope this helps you! |
