I was recently asked by a new VO about training. He is in Dallas. Anyone know good people I can recommend to this guy? It goes without saying that I will definitely be steering him to this board shortly as well.
Thanks! _________________ Joe Rodriguez, Bilingual Voice Actor | The Voiceover Thespian Blog |

S.T.A.G.E of Dallas has acting and VO classes. VO is taught by Bob Michaels who is a working VO. There is a beginner level and an intermediate level class available. Cost is reasonable. If they have never been in VO before it is a good place to start. This is where I started.

Also Bettye Zoller is a high profile VO artist who has classes.
One of our own board members Gordon Nicol has a professional studio and can record demos. He comes highly recommended by a couple of folks I know here.
Another option might be Lambert Studios. They have workshops, coaching and demo recording available.
Hope this helps. If anyone else has recommendations please add them. _________________ Ron Phillips

Hi Andy, I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I was trying to collect a good amount of data to give you. At any rate, there is a TON of great stuff here in the archives. Get in there and poke around. You'll get a real education. I'm sure some of the good people on this board will be able to provide you with good information regarding Dallas training as well. Oh, and WELCOME ABOARD BRUDDA! _________________ Joe Rodriguez, Bilingual Voice Actor | The Voiceover Thespian Blog |

Welcome to the board, Andy. Joe's right. There's a lot of valuable material in the archives. Well worth your time. Lots of laughs and even a few tears, but all of it good. _________________ Be well,
