I had a friend of mine as me what people were referring to when they write TOS. Like, "I got the audition through TOS today".

The other service - voices.com - V123 was editing posts with voices.com in it.

To me it was always used when discussing Star Trek. You had:

Star Trek: TOS
Star Trek: TNG
Star Trek: DS9

etc...
So in this case, it was The Original Series.

Yes, I have been to ST conventions!

On the forum associated with V123, TOS = "The Other Site". The term "voices.com" used to be censored, so TOS came into use. Now that it's not censored, it still gets used out of habit and tradition.

Personally, I'll always know TOS as the Tramiel Operating System.

Busy bee and all...

Amy,

I've been accused of that from time to time. Laugh

Totally Outrageously Sucky
( I hate it when producers and engineers use that to describe my first take!)
