VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Hi all,
Another newbie is in the house! Actually, doing (radio) VO work is something that I did years ago and am getting back into it again. Wow, has the industry changed in 20 years! No more standing in front of a huge reel to reel and writing my takes down on paper!

I recently cut my first "new"demo and am looking forward to setting up my home studio. It's ironic that I was hired years ago to do VO's and ended up working freelance writing and editing copy for a living. Now, I'm back to creating VO for my clients who want an audio message. I'm absolutely loving being back in front of a mic. This just goes to show that some good things come around twice!

I look forward to hanging out with you guy on the forum.

Hi Bailey,
Hate to admit it but, my site ( www.powerhousecopy.com ) isn't up yet My writing clients take up the majority of my writing time. I will be offering VO work for those clients showing interest in adding audio to their websites. My intention is to have my VO site seperate from my writing site...don't want to confuse my writing clients! :shock:

I have done some site content work for a VO site. You can see some of my writing at www.suchavoice.com I create the content for their RSS feed. Click on the bi-weekly VO industry news link on the bottom of the home page. Mind you, I'm not plugging the site, just offering more info. for those who might be interested. Laugh
