From yesterday: Colts World Championship jewelry collection
really, really fast
"choo choo choo choo...." was all I could hear and ended up laughing hysterically. I'm glad I got to do that in the privacy of my own home. |

For some reason, the words "participate" and "anticipate" (and derivatives) frequently tie mine tongue. And a while back when I was practicing narration by reading aloud from a history of Thomas Edison, frequent phrases about "electrical energy" would send me stumbling. _________________ Justin S. Participation and anticipation sometimes get me, too. Not sure why. But today's thorn was multiplication. Of course, now I can say it fine... |

Probably should have had them give me a keyboard and mic my fingers. |

Today:
"with a glass door to the Lanai"
which is really just a variation of "when we return to the line". |

Mary,
Yes, it's the "t" "th" "L" that's the trip-up, I think. My brain, at least, wants to accelerate through that phrase. Forcing myself to go slower and it flows trippingly off the tongue. _________________ Be well,

for me it has been:
"integral"
It's amazing how many different ways it comes out after I say it about 20 or 30 times in a 30 minute narration. GACK!!! _________________ . If at first you don't succeed, then bomb disposal probably isn't for you. |

Dave,
I'm with you. I've tripped over "integral" more times than I care to count. _________________ Be well,

Thanks Bob! I feel much better now. Using "integral" has long been a thorn in my vo-side. I thought it was just me _________________ . If at first you don't succeed, then bomb disposal probably isn't for you. |

DB, Strangely I didn't have trouble with that phrase....today.
BUT....I had one today that was givin' me fits:
"removal of sensitive tooth structure".
Go figure. That one must use just about every mouth muscle in existence.
Integral is also just downright scary sometimes. _________________ Bobbin Beam
