For a delicious taste of the old-timey days of advertising, I highly recommend this not-so-little number by The Heller Corporation, lovingly presented for your listening pleasure by the 365 Days Project ("365 days of cool and strange and often obscure audio selections."). The "Poor Little Hucksters" piece at the end is particularly swell.
I've had this piece in my collection for a while, and when it came up in the rotation, something told me the gang here would enjoy it. And lo and behold...when I went to dig up the direct link, I found that the project has a 2007 edition underway! Sweet! _________________ Justin S. Barrett

All together now...
"From the land of sky blue water...comes the beer refreshing. Hamms! The beer refeshing."
I've never tasted the stuff, but I can still sing their old jingle in my head like it was only yesterday that I heard it on WCCO during the Twins broadcasts. _________________ Be well,

Hugh Heller was a genius producer. They did radio jingles that broke the mold and actually were entertaining. Plus he used the Baylor Brothers on vocals, who could actually SING a horn arrangement. _________________ "When I was your age, we had to dial to get online"
