At this point it's still showing up in copy. I'll be glad when that's a done deal.

*THREADJACK ALERT*

Heat emergencies are of three types: heat cramps (caused by loss of salt...solution?, switch to margaritas), heat exhaustion (caused by dehydration...again, more margaritas) and heat stroke (shock...likely from the bill for the margaritas). Remove the victim from the heat and have him lie down. Apply cool compresses, elevate the feet, drink fluids(yes, margaritas) and use a fan to blow cool air. Get medical help if needed...or a fresh bartender....

*THREADJACK - ALL CLEAR*
We now return you to your regularly scheduled banter...

I like your thinking...basically drink Margritas till the horror passes. Laugh

On Wednesday I was working with a client in St Louis MO and with a Studio in Norfolk and they both said that it was predicted that it would be well over 100.......in the UK it was a rather balmy 70.....except in my booth where it was 96!!!!! I can't wait to move house and get into the new place with the working ventilation. Smile

All I know is that I can now skip my morning vocal warm-up and just read this thread out loud! Good grief- these get the mouth working!

On a side note...if you ever need a major vocal work out, just ask Bob Souer if you can borrow a script! That man gets some challenging stuff!

REQUIRE PRECIOUS RESOURCES

Dang-- a real crumb-crisp coating the first couple of times through.

Arrrrrgh! As Bob Souer mentioned earlier, "Community" is a tough one for me as well. Don't know why... it just comes out goofy about half the time. Anyway, now you know there are at least three of us in the same boat.

Indeed....it's one of those words that if you hit the T even a little to hard it does not sound "conversation" and is over announcer-like. Yeah, I know....who asks for conversational these days?!!?? I'd say maybe.....EVERYONE!!

But it is one of those words you have to find a sweet balance. I have a somewhat regular Condo and Apartment Community Company with Community in their name. I always have to go over the word before the sessions.

Same with Center...like Medical Center. It depends on the read and what the client wants (announcer, regular person etc.)

sorry if this grosses anyone out......but make sure there are no sinus issues, or use a decongestant or at least blow your nose before you must say a lot of words like, Community, or you may sound like you have a code in da nose. eeew!
