A couple days ago I wrote V123 an email complaining about all the unopened auditions in my outbox. This morning I got this response back:
Subject: Custom Auditions
Dear Victor,
Thank you for contacting us.
We totally understand that after working on recording and audition and sending it to the client, you want it to be heard. That is why, we have implemented different strategies to increase the number of auditions heard per project. While with the old system only about 30% of the auditions were heard, now almost 80% of them are being opened and heard by the client.
Please keep in mind that we are unable to force the client to open all the auditions, but we are constantly working on finding ways to increase this rate.
Please remember that your satisfaction is our highest priority. We love to hear from you, please feel free to contact our Customer Service whether you have a question, comment, or idea. We will work hard to make you happy. |

Looking over my auditions, I have a 73% "opened" rate.
Along with that though I have a ZERO percent rated rate since SmartCast. Even from customers that hired me never gave me a rating. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

Presently I have a 90% "Open" rate with an average of five stars.
The percentages show that of:
199 Invitations, I have answered 35 with auditions or 20% of Invitations have been answered with an audition.
Of the 35 auditions submitted seven have not been opened; or 15% are not opened.
Thirty four per cent (34%) are not rated.
I do not answer any invitations with a "to be defined" or which has an extremely low value. I will not sell myself cheap. I guess a friend said it correctly, I am a "voice prostitute" - a high priced prostitute, but a prostitute none-the-less.
Toodles

My fault DB, I left myself wide open for that and - in a way - invited it. My apologies.

Frank,
Thanks for the stats. Here are mine:
217 - Total number of leads received, since Voice123.com V2.0 rolled out. 216 SmartCast, 1 Private.
37 - Leads answered, with average rating of 4 stars. (An audition to invitation rate of about 18%.)
9 - Leads not opened, or 24% of leads submitted, (or a 76% opened rate).
Like Frank, I don't bother answering invitations without a defined budget.
(These numbers do not include the 3 test auditions from Voice123.com, each of which I have answered.)
(Edited to add lead and audition response information.) _________________ Be well,
