I decided to pop out for a couple of hours this afternoon and wisely left my mobile phone at home.
I arrived back at around 4pm and there were four jobs requiring my attention. Three of them were run of the mill productions but the 4th was a delight. A theme park has a "Christmas Fantasy land" tour for children, their guide is Eddie the Elf, my job was to be that Elf! The brief was to be warm, kind, friendly and full of wonder ........ It's a living. |

But Phillip - the Christmas Tour session is "type casting". You have always been our friendly ELF around here...

Fabulous
My best jobs always come at times I'm not looking for them.
One of my favorites was a bit similar to yours, Philip. I was hired to be the voice of the howler monkey at the SC zoo last year. It was for their 'Boo at the Zoo' tram ride. He was running from 'scary witches and goblins' and trying to find his mommy. SO much fun! I love voicing mystical beings and tiny woodland creatures...don't you? _________________ Threadjackers local 420

I was beginning to pout over the successes of others... then I got a phone call about 20 minutes ago.
