When I went to change the clocks on my vcr's yesterday morning (yes, I still use them) I discovered they had changed themselves - probably last week.

Which means that none of the Mexican soap operas I tape to keep up with the current lingo got taped - so I never found out what happened to the "bruja" who was cheating on her husband with her sister-in-laws husband who was the son of the friend of the mother of the girl the husband was REALLY in love with anyway.

....sigh...... I hate not knowing what happens.....

If they would just changed the stinkin' clocks on a weekday, this wouldn't be an issue.

I'm from the school of thought that believes they shouldn't ever change the clocks at all. But - If they changed the time in the middle of the week, I would imagine it would be worse than doing it on Sunday.

All I am saying is that the only way I would be able to enjoy the extra hour of sleep is if the time changed on a weekday - when the kids NEVER get up early...have to drag them out of bed. They do not yet appreciate the opportunity to sleep in. They only want to when they can't.

my last morning show prank was monday, april 1st, '95 (i think) when i came on at 6am saying it was 7am and hoping everyone set their clocks forward last night ... kept it up (giving the time one hour advanced) til 9am. seriously hacked off people ending up at work/school early for no reason.

good times, good times ...

So was THAT the reason why that was your "last morning show prank?"

Pretty good way to go out, if it was!

Well, after griping this morning about the kids being up way too early, the 4 year old just crawled into bed on her own! Her 7 year old sister just got out of the bathroom, having gotten all ready to settle in for the night - and I never told her to get in! And their 9 year old brother just got in the shower! And it's only 6:15 p.m.! This is so cool!

I think some of the guys in the neighborhood are out back with their garage doors open, so I believe I'll get to join them shortly.

Maybe this time change didn't turn out so bad after all.
