Thanks for the heads-up, Jeff! I'm a few chapters into the book as of this writing, and Scott Brick's read is totally sucking me into the story. I'm not familiar with his work prior to this, but I'm eager to check out more. This title alone has a lot for a narrator n00b like me to learn from.
Don't have much to contribute to the other side of this thread, though...sorry. _________________ Justin S. Barrett

Same here Jeff, thanks for posting about the availability of the book.
I've never had the opportunity to listen to a book in audio form, and I find this one absolutely entertaining.
It is simply amazing how Scott Brick has caused me set aside two hours at a time to listen (haven't quite mastered how to stop and do a pick-up with my iPod yet). Not to mention, that I'm really enjoying story as well.
Being a voice actor reading an audio book is truly an art. How Mr. Brick weaves in and out of the characters is very impressive. There was one chapter where he had 7 different characters interacting with each other .. WOW .. how'd he do that? Great job. |
