Ever since I was a little kid, Channel 11 (New York) broadcasts several hours of the somewhat anti-climactic burning log in the fireplace. But now that I'm older it reminds me of my childhood so I tune in to watch it every Christmas.
I logged into my gmail today and saw they have a Yule Log, so in a moment of inspiration I "borrowed" it and put it on my site (I also added the nice crackle):

It takes a little longer to load because of the images, but if you don't get the Yule Log where you are, then just have my site open - the sound of the crackle has a nice bottom to it if you have subwoofers.
Happy Holidays!

Thanks Anthony, we also love the cosy log vibe here!
Tis the Winter solstice, time when the sun stands still in the sky and we all celebrate being warm and cosy and abundant in the midst of it all in our own ways...
There'll be plenty of work in the New Year! (If not before!) |
