VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Quite Soggy here in SF.
Got in yesterday and are currently staying with a long-time friend of Dieter— Robert Johnson— former curator at the San Francisco Fine Arts Museum, and a fabulous collector.
Last night Robert hosted a stunningly fabulous supper to which bunch of other art collectors came to meet us and see Dieter's work. It was brilliant and grand.

Haven't checked in to the GDC yet. Went out to the Palace fo the Legion of Honor where Robert works and were in 15th century Europe when the power went out.
D and I walked along the trail along the coast of Land's End. There was a 2-masted ship in the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge was all shrouded in fog. We then paused so D could sketch the front of a house he liked, and walked on "home" to Robert's place on 20th Avenue.

We're going to find some lunch nearby and then head downtown.

Wow...I didn't realize they even HAD power in 15th century Europe. I tell ya, that DaVinci thought of EVERYthing!

Stopping to sketch a house...man, I wish I had that talent! Despite a few snags, the trip sound lovely thus far!

I wanted to go to the GDC, especially since it is only about a hour half away, but it doesn't look like it.

When do you and Pat speak at the conference?

I hope you enjoy another stay in the great state of Cali.
