You are all advocates of the green apples for mouth noise theory. I wanted to impress a client ....
Thanks for nothing!!

Dear Mr. Banks,
While I'm not an advocate of the green apples for voiceover work school, I do believe the idea is to chew, swallow and then do the voiceover. (Great fun listening to that bit, though.) _________________ Be well,

Dear Mr. Banks,
Pay no attention to those churlish louts laughing at your misuse of the green apple in voice-over work. I, for one, am sucking up to you, and thus want to say that I think you sounded marvelous! In fact, I want to know how you managed to eat the apple, do the voice-over and STILL not have many mouth noises!
'Fess up!
Loutishly, but prettily,
CC

Philip, no matter what you do, you are still the master.
I could "hear" the green in the apple. _________________ Try to imagine a world where there is no such thing as hypothetical situations.

Thanks Bob. On an MKH416 a green apple always sounds like sour grapes ....

Made my morning, Philip. See, that's why I use Gala or Mac apples. You also have to hold them above your head while biting. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

Is there scope for a running gag here?

Hey, the rules clearly state no preaching your bias. PC apples record just as well as Mac apples. _________________ Jeff

Well, Mac apples are still best when reading copy for desktop publishing software or for serious graphic design copy.
For any other type of copy, I'd go with the PC apples.
Wait, unless you're reading copy for a grocery store, and then my preference would be Honeycrisp. _________________ Lou Zucaro

I thought it was a spot-on impersonation of Granny Smith, myself.
