Hehehehe...
I think the cans & string are used by my company for our backup communication some days.
I'm an ardent believer of Pelican cases when my mics aren't in use. I also use them for any gear I take with me while traveling. I even have one to safely store my tubes in.
The truly rare stuff is in a pelican which is then stored in MILspec cases (you can't be too careful with the vintage stuff).
Before anyone says it, yes I know that I am insane with this stuff. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

Hey, thats not insane, its justifiably careful. Perhaps in the same way the Scottish people have a reputation for being careful with their money. _________________ www.davidmonteath.com

Thanks for the compliment Dave, but I think when I got to the level of installing a SAN with Fiber channel drives as a backup for my DAW (which cost more than all the DAWs in this place combined), I officially realized that I'm insane when it comes to backup and security of operations.
