Bob spent a lovely dinner with me and my wife this evening at the worlds greatest restaurant, Olive Garden. A very nice time was had by all and as always, I'm amazed by Bob's generosity of spirit, and modesty about his tremendous accomplishments.

Sigh. It's ok, Jeff. You can go ahead and tell people that I was there, too. I thought you were gonna take the picture so they COULDN'T see me. Sheesh.

Diane, don't be mad at me for going to...well, you know, "there".

Jeff,

Thanks for posting the photo. We did indeed have a very pleasant time chatting about all sorts of different subjects including more than a little bit about voiceover. And the fake Italian food at the Olive Garden was quite delicious.

Is the "fake" in "fake Italian food" modifying the "Italian" or the "food"?

Actually, the wife and I love Olive Garden. Neither of us are wine drinkers, but we did a wine-tasting there one night and actually found something we both liked: the Reunite Lambrusco (fizzy grape juice), complete with screw-cap, and available for around $3/bottle at your local grocer. Nothing goes with fake Italian food quite like fake wine.

OMG, I didn't know Riunite was even still around. That's what we used to drink in high school. It was especially good on a date because high school girls were fond of it's soda-like quality....wow, blast from the past!

As for the Bob Souer World Tour, I'm now convinced that he is actually running for President and will be a write-in candidate in November.

Bob Souer for President?

Um...let's see...a genuinely nice, generous person who seems to thoroughly enjoy helping out his fellow man AND who also seems to be entirely trustworthy?

He doesn't stand a chance.
