While I'm not a regular gamer, I get the same feeling some mornings while I'm reading the VO-BB. If I don't finish in time my lovely wife wakes up and calls me for morning coffee and chats and I'm reluctant to leave right at that moment because if I sign off I lose all of the "view since last visit" marks and if I'm gone for a while the site signs me off. So some days we play the "just another minute" game right up until dismemberment becomes my other option and then I have to quit.
Sigh.

Good one Amy. Oh man is that true or what? Sadly very very appropriate for me.
The last two weeks I've been emailing EA Games back and forth because they reset all my online statistics for Battlefield 2. They accused me of stat padding! I went from a Captain down to a Private! I swore off playing unless my stats were restored. Lucky for me they saw it my way and gave me back all my points and awards, etc..
Pretty sad when the statistics on a virtual game are so important. Will I ever grow up?
