You guys are having a great time... and nothing personal for everyone wanting to hear all the in's-and-out's, they're going to be wiped out by the end of today.
More than a few of the folks on this board have worked with Bob. You'll be hard pressed to find anything but the highest praise for him around here.
My own personal statement is that he's one of the best resources available to the VO community, not just for what's in his head and his experience, but for his total outlook on things. _________________ Voiceovers by Gregory Houser

Oh MY HEAD!
What an amazing two days. I've been so looking forward to this workshop for soooooooooooo long....and it was worth the wait! Bob promised that our heads would be throbbing by tonight...and dang it are! There was a real mix of experience levels and Bob met every person at where they were- and stretched each of us according to our abilities. I've heard how marathon runners get a 'runner's high'......well I've got the VO equivalent - a 'Talker's high' as it were. Bob is the real deal... I <3 Bob.
I am working on getting pics on line..I'll get them on tomorrow most likely.
ALSO - What a treat it was to share a ride with CC and Chrissy and get to know these two amazingly cool and fun women off the board (dang Chrissy....sorry I busted yer walker )) Gregor....lovely to see you my dear!!! and THANK you Greg for doing all the heavy lifting on this workshop!!!! (Bob flew in on American- now imagine what kind of heart palpitations Greg experienced this week.) Just reminded what an amazing community we have here...
Lots of great tips! I've got a list of 'fixes' for my demos (no musical intros, who knew?). Saying a prayer that Bob's flight home isn't cancelled!!! _________________ Moe Egan

Oooo! Lookit my headphone hair! And that was just about five hours ago. Suddenly here I am, back in Bangor, with a head stuffed full of idears and other nifty things.
I have to say that the end was WELL worth the means, Moe. ... That's all I can muster at this point. I love leaving from downtown Boston because I get back in 3.5 hours instead of four.
Hopefully, we'll see some familiar names joining us here soon.
More later. I'm pooped. _________________ Greg Littlefield

Well, I'm beat, but let me just say that this was SO worth the time and money. Bob is an amazingly patient guide through this topic. I learned a lot that I can apply to my work on both sides of the mic! Plus, everybody was so nice and supportive.
Here are some pics that I took:
Me and Bob...

Great fun folks! _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

Moe owes me a walker.
Dang what an incredible weekend!!!! Bob Bergen is such a talented, down to earth, fantastic guy and teacher.
Working one on one with Bob in the booth is both challenging and energizing. He really works everyone hard and you come away feeling that you learned and grown so much as a performer and as a person.
And it was great to get to meet and hang out with Moe, Carolyn and Greg. I want to thank the three of you for helping me out. Greg checked out the physical layout of the building for me to make sure that I could get in and out etc. And thanks to Moe and Carolyn for carrying my walker up and down stairs even if Moe did break my walker. To be honest I've been wanting an excuse to get a newer updated model anyways.
I'll say the same thing everyone says whose worked with Bob Bergen, "If you ever get a chance to take his workshop DO IT."
Cheers and good night,
Chrissy |

Thanks for posting the great pix and MEGA PROPS to Greg for wearing a VO-BB shirt!
(I always get a kick out of seeing shirts from the board, like when Bob and Eric Souer go visiting!)
What a grand time for everyone! _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Well, after spending the first day spelling out the URL to everyone, I figured a visual would be good reinforcement. _________________ Greg Littlefield
