OK...stupid question...I said "CMA's"...what's on tonight is "The ACADEMY of Country Music Awards"...is that the same thing?....
...I may very well have mis-stated what I'm watching !

From being in country radio for around 11 years, I can answer this one:
The "CMA" awards is the Country Music Association Awards show and the "ACM" awards is the Academy of Country Music Awards show...two different awards shows.

Ahhh...OK...so sisnce my DH turned the station at 10:30, I missed the last half hour....
So...if John Willyard annonces the CMA's...who announces th ACM Awards?
...so many awards shows...so many VO's!

After Googling, looks like last year it was a guy named Shawn Parr.
Can't tell if it was him this year or not.
Anyway, he sounded good, was just wondering!

Liz, I think it was the same as last year. I heard him say his name at the end, & remember it sounding like Farr to me, so it probably was the same guy.
