Dave:
I love the site's style, the look and feel...very sharp.
I'm assuming you'll have all SEO aspects handled in it so good on you!
Not sure what your TV contract allows re-on camera commercial work outside your market but if its allowed and you want to do it and have some demos, I would think you might want to add that tab to your site.
And I'm not sure what version of the page I'm seeing, if its less white or more white than it was prior to previous suggesstions but the white I'm seeing right now (off gray) is perfect.
I like the balance. _________________ - Peter

All y'all are very nice to me. I'm getting alot out of this discussion. Website by committee...brilliant!
I love the debate over the apostrophe....geez, what a geek am I!
Wild claims of so-called "intellectual integrity" aside, I'm definitely going without it, now, even tho it still looks unprofessional to me.
Yes, a contraction can be two words, but an apostrophe is used as a stand-in for missing letters 'n' = and, but DB's argument clinched it...demo is a word, ergo, demos is the plural. Perfect!
I'm going with a different pic that has colors which match better. I DO hawk my on-cam skills...so the pic stays.
Peter, what you're seeing is still the "white" background....and yes, I'm getting full SEO and SEM support on this one...that was my original intent...not necessarily a pretty make-over visually.
Great reminder on the contact info on the home-page, Caryn... thanks!
'Should be seeing the final mock-up in a day or so... and still working on the "rates" results for y'all.
Jeffrey Kaylor was here last night in Vegas for some convention, but he's got a wicked sinus infection, and slept through our a t. time at the TV station. Not to bag on him, though.... he was feeling awful, and obviously needed the sleep. All roads lead to Vegas eventually!
Thanks again, everyone!

good lord, no apostrophe.
oh wait, i'm late to this punctuation party, huh?
you could add an 'e' to demos in deference to dan quayle.
yep, better pic is in order, and i like the idea of having it match your site colors to some degree. i also like, as you know from the PM i sent you mister hotness, that the avatar you had up for all of :30 or so, of you in the newsroom, kinda scratching your head, is sizzling.
i imagine you're still considering which hat to add to the site, too.

OK, getting closer still.
I incorporated almost all of your suggestions in my feedback e-mail to him, and I'm not sure he listened very closely, but it IS an improvement.
All the pages are active now, but not the flash-players yet. I'm still not satisfied with the background....I think it should be toned down more to a charcoal grey, or as DB said: a polished granite.... I'll hammer that home.
Sorry Liz....just don't like the muted white even.
He's ported over all my content verbatim...and that's where a lot of tweaking remains to be done. There's no link to my blog...and no contact information on the front page....but I would not be embarrased to make this 'live' today if I had to.
I've gotta remember, he's not charging me for this, and is prompt and very nice to work with.
Clicky HERE to see.
Thanks for all your support through this... much appreciated.
