Here's an interesting new series on the web that follows new up and coming directors that are challenged to shoot a new reel that will be critiqued by major ad agencies. They do this all on their own money and employ some pretty creative methods to do the job. Narrated by yours truly.

Excellent as always. Good insight on VO demos can be gained from this as well. Great look behind the scenes that we (VO people) rarely get to see.

Thanks guys, the series refreshes me how much a director has going on. You know you have a killer director when they can actually communicate to you the voice talent what they hear and see in their vision of a spot so that you can nail the delivery quickly if you haven't already done so in the audition. I'll be interested to see if they feature any work with voice talent in the upcoming episodes. |
