Eric and I stayed the evening in Blue Ash, OH a suburb of Cincinnati which as it happens was only about 15 minutes from Rob Ellis' home. Rob and his wife Laura joined us for breakfast at the Bob Evans restaurant just a couple of blocks from our hotel.

What a great way to start our day that turned out to be. (The photo was taken by our server.)

We had time enough to go to church this morning in Cincinnati and then took off for Columbus, OH where we stopped at Cracker Barrel for a late Sunday Dinner with Joe Szymanski along with Dan and Niki Nachtrab.

We were there for over 2 hours and had so much fun that it seemed more like 20 minutes. After our dinner and conversation, we stopped outside in the sun for a photo of the four of us VO guys.

As you can see, Brian Hart made an honorary appearance on Eric's shirt, while I wore the original "What Are The Haps My People" design. After bidding Joe, Dan and Niki farewell, we drove a couple more hours East and stopped for the night less than a hour from our meeting location tomorrow morning.

It's been so much fun meeting up with friends on this journey. Eric and I were talking this evening about how glad we are that we did this, even though it's meant a bit of extra time on the road. And honestly, there's been a further compensation for that extra time on the road, because it's given Eric and me extra Dad and son time together, too.

Tomorrow morning is filled with the meeting with our client in Pittsburgh. We'll have lunch with a non-voiceover friend and then spend the rest of the day driving home to Charlotte.

May I also say, it's a real delight reading everyone's comments. Thank you all for your kindness.

What I may relish most of all is the pictures showing the vo-bb peeps OUT of their booths and in normal settings.
(If Olive Garden is normal, I mean ... Laugh )

It's proof you're more than just a voice! Wow! Legs! And arms!

You guys look like you're having the time of your lives. If you make it to Maine, remember...dress warmly. Yes, even in July. I kid, of course.

Had a great time, Bob. It was great finally meeting, Eric. He is as much a hooligan, as you would all think. Wink Joe, we need to do that more often.

Also, I am probably stating the obvious, but, The Cracker Barrel is probably not the best place to share a meal with your vegetarian friends...just sayin' Rolls Eyes

Dan, next time it's Chipotle. I know I could certainly benefit from a few more veggies in my diet.

Lots of fun seeing Bob and meeting Eric. Good times! Thanks for making the trip guys.
