Last year, we surprised my dad by inviting local VO-BB'rs to a restaurant for a birthday celebration. We're thinking BIG this year! We'd like to have an open house birthday celebration for anyone who would like to come on his birthday (12-20-08 ). This isn't a surprise, we all talked about it shortly after his birthday last year. The problem is, Dad is concerned that no one can come because it's too close to the holidays and because of the cost of travel. So we were wondering. . . if we did this, who could come? (The other possibility would be to hold it after the holidays) Could we get some feedback? Is this at all possible, or is it just wild dreaming? Please feel no obligation to come, but it would be really cool to have a big VO-BB Christmas Party/Bob Souer "Double Nickel" Birthday Bash.

For me it would have to be after the Holidays. As Bob knows, the 20th is a big day around my household. |

I will try to make it either way. Let me know what you firm up. The only thing that would interfere is my nephews christening, since I am to the godmother and responsible for his spiritual upbringing. This is a great idea! _________________ Pam Tierney

Hey Eric!
What a SPLENDID idea!
I do agree that since it's so close to Christmas, it might be tough to get away...BUT that said...I'd do my best either way!

Sounds like a lot of fun! Any chance you guys are moving out here to the West Coast before that time? _________________ We have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Eric,
I love your Dad but I really doubt I can make it down.

I'd love to come but unfortunately it's a bit far for me and I'll most likely be with my family in France. I hope you'll have a fabulous party! _________________ www.clairedodin.com |

I might have to hitch a ride on the GP Express, but if it is possible, I will try to come - one way or another.

I would love to be there but that time of year is so busy for our families!
But I'll be there in spirit as with many others I'm sure _________________ Lou Zucaro

Sadly I wouldn't be able to make it. It's just way too harrowing to travel out of LAX that time of year! _________________ the Amy Snively family of brands for all your branded thing needs.

breaking self-imposed radio silence to chime in "yes". i could use an uplifting visit with good v-o people...and as you know, eric, i already have his present. it would be grand to deliver it in person. _________________ rowell gormon
