|
|
I incorporated it into my monthly action plan. My goal is to comment on two blogs a week, with mixed results. Sometimes I forget, sometimes I'm too busy, and sometimes I just can't find one compelling enough to comment on. I do get a sense of satisfaction when I comment on someone's blog, though. It makes me feel like I'm contributing to our community, especially when someone comments on my comment and it furthers a dialogue that one of you are trying to start.
So, how are you guys doing with it? _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

Tom,
I've made an effort to comment on more blogs, and also to review items on StumbleUpon that I find of particular interest. One thing I've noticed is that I'm starting to see more situations where I StumbleUpon a blog post from a friend. That never happened even just 6 months ago. _________________ Be well,

I put a link to a comment made by someone else by way of a referred comment in the hope that someone may refer to my reffered comment by a link back to my original link which would take the reader to my blog. |

Hi Tom,
I've been trying to keep up and sometimes I am better able to do so than others. I get to making the rounds and commenting as time allows. Social networking is great, but really I could be at it 24/7, and still never be caught up. And when there's paying work to be done, it can't be the top priority. Yet, it is a priority for me just the same. _________________ Bobbin Beam

Little to none. I participate in this forum, and write essays for a production magazine, which also become entries on my site. And I update my pc repair service site every week or two.
Probably running a producers network where we clear 100+ e-mails a day takes all the words out of me. Any time I can step away from a screen of any kind is welcome. |

"commitment"?!
When is there time left to work if you're committed to commenting on blogs?
Unless you have a wife, I suppose.
I oversee this joint, occasionally peruse a musician's board that also has a political forum, contribute to a particular web-comic's forum when the mood strikes.
If anyone wants to know what I'm thinking about the VO world and its extensions, they can come here. If they don't know about the VO-BB, then they don't know me anyway, and therefore don't care what I think! _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Great thread! I got to go blog about it.
Actually, I'd prefer to twitter about it.
Or twiddle my thumbs. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover

I'm behind on everything with this move. I haven't even commented back on my own blog comments in weeks! I'm a baaaad little VO blogger
Relocating is the pits.
BUT- we have a house!! 2 more weeks to go (as long as there aren't any MORE delays!) Maybe then I can get back on track!
At least my VO-BB time hasn't suffered too much _________________ Threadjackers local 420
