I also sent an inquiry about the cord. This was his reply...

That's the way I found it. Mic is from an estate.

I've been to many estate sales in our area. When it comes to electronics, most estate dealers are boneheads when it comes to price. I'd be willing to bet that this "cordless" mic was in a cardboard box with about a dozen other items, with a sign that said, "Old radio gear... $5 a piece."

Rancho Bernardo always has some great estate sales... I picked up a beautiful set of JBL Century L100's at one for twenty bucks several years ago. In fact, I'm listening to them right this very moment.

You're right Jeff... but I'll bet those came with a cord.
$20... you did prove my point about some of the electronics.

Uh... The speakers didn't come with a cord, either. But I wasn't complaining!

The seller sounds like a stooge. Expect the mic to sound like utter crap (which it probably does) and you won't be disappointed.

Agreed. When asked about the condition about the ribbon and whether it was original or NOS, the reply was "what's NOS?"

Thank you, and goodnight.

Hahahah, oh, sad. And the bidding is going up on it, too. Someone's gonna crap out of luck unless they are building that lamp. Go back and look at the posting and the other questions there!
