I'm pretty sure she has a lot more than two things to correct about her approach, but the most obvious ones are not introducing herself (hello, basic phone manners? yeesh) and giving up too easily. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

#1. She didn't email you first.
#2. She didn't introduce herself when you answered the phone.
(#2 gets a real smackdown when it happens here at Camp Cooper.) _________________ DBCooperVO.com

#1 - No introduction - even if it's brief, it's just plain ol' manners... geeez
#2 - She has no ISDN and is waiting for iSpeak (jus' kiddin' Frank)

Sounded fine to me and in todays market I would encourage every voice artist to adopt similar working practises. |

#1 She forgot to mention the naked pictures of you in Tijuana.
#2 She forgot to drop Philip's name. |

My suggestion would be that when she said:
>>Her: "I'd like to find out where you are located."
You should always answer "I'm in my office on the phone speaking with you!" |

Ha! Good one. There are actually several comebacks that I could have used.
"Right now, I'm in the bathroom. Where are you located?"
"Someplace dark and creepy."
"I'm not. I'm dislocated."
"No bloody idea. I've been lost since 1972. Can you help me?"
"I can tell you, but then I'd have to kill you."
"Kenneth, what's the frequency?"

Definitely need more like her in this business... I might get some work that way...
Thanks for the iSpeek reference... but she wouldn't use it... she works out of her garage, on an iPod.

Actually, that's one place I wouldn't be, But thanks for the thought!
And thanks especially, for the edit. Discretion, as they say, is the better part of valor.

Anyone that vague should be asked.
"And what's your name, any idea?" |
