I will give the guy credit for "assuming" correctly. | Quote: | | Hi there,
I would like to hire a voice actor to narrate an audio tour. You will work from a script that should be narrated into a tour that is 50 minutes in length. The finished product will be 45 (or so) short mp3 files (20 stops and 20 directions). They should be produced in both .MP3 and .WMA format.

It is very important that the person I work with be willing to continue to provide "touch up support" if anything needs to be modified slightly. Please indicate what kind of continuing support you can provide.

I would also like to get three short introduction recordings done as well. The compensation is $100 for everything mentioned in this description. So, I assume that I am targeting the non-professional market. Please point me toward any examples of your work.

				| ooo oooo ooooo... pick me! pick me!
What!!! It's almost Christmas and that extra $100 could really help me get closer to being able to afford that really nice gift for the little lady.

 Yuck!!!!

I think it was posted on v123 as well... hey, look on the bright side... another excellent opportunity for an emerging talent to get a christening into the business (or maybe it's a swirly  )

				| Here's irony for you on V123 - the ad is for someone to read about providing for the grandchildren to attend college - and the $30 to $50 they are offering certainly won't help with that!
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The following will be used in a PowerPoint presentation. If this could be done for around $30-50 USD, that would be great. Thank you.

“I’ve been a member of this church since it was built in 1945. My kids are all grown and I love to spend time with my grandchildren. My house is paid for and I live modestly.

I wanted to create a legacy with some of the money I’ll likely never use. My investment professional suggested I roll my Roth 401(k) to a Roth IRA then not withdrawal the funds in that account. Roth IRA funds, he explained, won’t require minimum withdrawals at age 70 ½ and can be passed to my heirs income-tax free. It makes me feel good to know that I can help my grandchildren attend college and help the church that’s meant so much to me over the years.”

				| Yeah Spacegypsy, I saw that $30 posting on V123. I was sooo disgusted that I actually recorded & submitted audio to him....my exact scripting??? : "For $30, this is all you get"

He's probably wondering why I even took the time to respond....just couldn't resist making him waste a little of his time checking out my audio

It would be awful if you fell out of favour with Voice123 and stopped getting all that lovely work.

Wes, I applaud your response! Clients such as that one and the one mentioned to begin this thread really irritate me.

Did anyone see the ad offering ski lift tickets in lieu of payment? LOL

				| Now if they would be willing to fork over for the airline tickets...might be worth shooting out a dozen reads. There have been a few weird leads of late there. _________________
