Saturday, early afternoon the madness of the trip got the better of Liz and she fell sound asleep on the couch in my office. Jazz and Bess wanted to go out so I took them for a quick 10 minute walk around the harbour. Upon my return Liz was ready for me.

A couple of pints and a face-full of rock'n'chips with lashings of salt'n'vinegar.

I don't often feel homesick... but I do now!

Don, pies are wonderful things... but faced with a choice, fish served straight from the frier by a nice chappie in an apron wins every time. It's something that cannot be emulated perfectly in the comfort of your own home, whereas a pie can be.
