Just fyi, I have the CAD e100s (along with an RE-20), in a recording environment that is 'good', but certainly NOT pristine, and I have come to love, love, LOVE the e100. It's a bit more sensitive than the RE-20, but has a much lower noise floor due to little to no internal noise.
My recommendation to anyone, considering ANY mic, is: do your research and then try what you think MIGHT work for you. If it doesn't work out, turn around and sell it. Odds are you won't lose much, if any, money when you re-sell. _________________ Scott R. Pollak

Thank you, Scott! I know if I have the chance to shoot out the cad and a dynamic, i'll have a great place to post audio and get expert, honest feedback! _________________ "There's Magic all around us; you just have to see it.
