I'll second that Amen.
BBC standards call for a room with AT LEAST 1500 cubic feet of air, then a microphone like the U87 is comfortable.
I went down the clone/mod route with some microphones before buying my U87ai, I keep them for other things or travel, but they're their own beasts, subtle differences, but it's all gobbly gook.
If it sounds good to your client, and they're paying you with honest money, it's good. _________________ Company, villainous company, hath been the spoil of me...
